I know that it is supposed to be one of the most emotionally painful things a girl can endure, BUT, what drives me up the wall is that there are people out there that just assume their experiences are the only ones that matter. What people don't realize is this, the extreme pro-life political agenda is about taking away the CHOICE. The pro-choice agenda is simply to keep those rights. I don't go around telling people to get abortions, nor do any of my pro-choice friends. I think it's absurd to even suggest that pro-choice suggests 'pro-abortion'. how many are there?

Been thinkin' (too much, and never enough) [09 Dec 2004|09:02pm] My sweeping generalisation of the day: I think people who do a lot of drugs are just trying to experience some sort of reminiscence of their childhood. I mean, I dunno, I don't DO a lot of (any) drugs, so I could be wrong. But I got to thinking how many children's movies/books must've been drug induced, and then I think that there's at least an indirect correlation between the inner child and narcotics. Maybe I'm crazy. Maybe I like it that way. Pretttyyyyyy. Anyway, lately, i've been trying to get more in touch with my err.....I'm not going to say 'inner child' cause I'm only 17. But, really, I think a part of me got disconnected when I reached adolescence or something, cause my imagination was KICK ASS back then, and now it's not even an imagination so much as it is strange paranoias/phobias, et al. I only dream up the worst case scenarios, it seems. I guess there's the theory that if you don't expect much, you'll never really be disappointed and always 'pleasantly' surprised, but really, it's not always like that. Sometimes, it's just perpetual disappointment, cause you think "Man, but I shouldn't HAVE to have low expectations in firs place", and then you get all bummed. I want to have a 24 hour movie-thon. I also want a snow day. Ideally, I'd like a 24 hour movie-thon-snow day. That would KICK ASSS. Okay. Stop it, Andrea, you're not in California.... (Alissa says that since she's moved out there, she's heard 'kick ass' a LOT more...) But anyways, we could pop popcorn and drink hot chocolate and take little breaks in between movies to play in the snow...You know what, if it snows a lot over break, you best believe we're doing that. I don't really care who with, you just best be fun and up for it. That's all I ask of you. I'm so lucky to have the friends that I do.
